Fruit of the Fallen
Once carried by the Goblin hero Ashurta, this blade has the power to shift forms into a number of different weapons, depending on the desires of it’s wielder. The Blade played a large role in the First Dalkyr War, in which Ashurta was one of the foremost leaders of the Dhakaani empire. The weapon, though extremely powerful in general, is particularly potent against abberations, and is imbued with an enchantment that binds them to their current point in space and time, even hindering teleportation.
The Blade was forged to be placed on the Ashen Crown (Arkantaash, in the original Goblin), however it was separated from the other components of the artifact during when the relic was sundered. It is unique among the elements of the crown in that it is the only one that was forged by the Dhakaani Goblins. The remaining pieces of the Crown were first forged by the Elves of Xen’drik into the Crown of Remembrance (Liryana’tani). Unlike the other pieces of the Crown, Ashurta’s blade bears little connection to the Elves; instead having much stronger ties to the Goblins that forged it.
The Blade was entombed with Ashurta when he died, and was retrieved from his tomb beneath Sharn by a group of adventurers in the year 998K. It is currently carried by the ranger Amrek.
